QBlade is a small utility that allows the designer to calculate a number of important wind turbine parameters, such as lift, drag, thrust, etc. Calculations can be performed both for a two-dimensional flow around a flat plate (FLOW) and a three-dimensional flow around a three-dimensional (3D) airfoil.
More complex calculations such as multi-body and non-linear flow effects are not included.
The application has two working models: flat plate and airfoil. Each has a XFoil direct analysis option for extracting necessary data and Blade gives a list of aerodynamic characteristics of an airfoil.

When you uninstall the program it is recommended to run the program again, as the databases for the parameters are not erased.
